Café Louis offers a single fixed menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner with varying seasonal dishes. Think of steak tartare, lady steak, homemade beef bourguignon, and salad with duck liver. We prepare artisanal dishes with fresh, locally sourced ingredients from Maastricht and its surroundings.
Café Louis can be found in the building of Hotel Monastère Maastricht. A former monastery from the 14th century. After various transformations and the preservation of historical elements, it has now become the beautiful Hotel Monastère, where the past is still tangible in the original details and materials, such as Mosa tiles developed by Petrus Regout and old lintels at the entrance that once provided protection for the carriage gate.
